Big week for seniors, Lady Eagles take three of four

With the softball playoffs approaching, the Hennessey Lady Eagles put together an impressive run that included winning three out of four games last week. The girls won games against Kremlin-Hillsdale, Okarche and Okeene, before dropping their final contest of the week against Chisholm.

The Lady Eagles kicked the week off strong against Kremlin-Hillsdale at home last Monday, with a 10-2 victory. Coach Megan Karsten had the heart of her order to thank as her three, five and six-hitters combined four nine hits and six RBI.

Morgan Wymore collected three singles on the night, while driving in a run and scoring two of her own, and Hunter Miller had three singles of her own while also driving in a run. Still, it was Kacie LaPorte that swung the hot bat.
