Collier produces one of the top throws in Oklahoma history
At the high school meet on Thursday in Okeene, Madison Collier wowed the crowd again, with a personal- best in the discus of 149’8”.
That distance marks the seventh best in Oklahoma history, and was nearly 30 feet further than any other girl at the meet. Collier also finished second in the shot put with a distance of 39’7”.
The boys’ team was still without Dillon and Cole Joyce, two of their better sprinters. Aidan Craun did compete in the sprints, finishing fifth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.90, and while he did qualify for the 200-meter final, he didn’t place in the top six.
