The Hennessey Eagles had a few athletes compete in the 30th Annual K101 Classic Bowl last week. Hali Tuell played in the girls’ basketball game on Tuesday, and Aidan Craun and Dillion Joyce participated in the football game Saturday.
Tuell was one of Hennessey’s top athletes in 2018 as she played softball and basketball, as well as ran track. On the track, Tuell qualified for state in the 300 hurdles. On Tuesday, she got one last opportunity to represent Hennessey High School on the hardwood.
“I was ecstatic,” said Tuell. “It was a great opportunity. I hope the rest of the girls at Hennessey have the chance to do this next year. It is a great experience to make new friendships and get to play one last time. Coach Nightingale told me to soak it all in, and enjoy every minute of it, because it really is your last game”
