Fay resident has ambitions for Mars; interns at NASA

Fay resident and SWOSU student Colton Parkinson is playing a part in NASA’s Artemis lunar exploration program which aims to return U.S. astronauts to the moon and then on to Mars, through an internship program this summer.

Parkinson was selected to participate in the 10 week internship program through the Oklahoma Space Grant (OKSG) which also funded his internship. He traveled to Florida at the end of May where he has been working at the Kennedy Space Center.
