Hennessey’s Prairie Quilt Celebrates 18 Years
Hennessey’s Prairie Quilt, established in 2001, recently celebrated its 18th Anniversary with a big Birthday Bash. The store celebrated for a full week from Sunday, Mar. 10, through Saturday, Mar. 16.
The week-long festivities welcomed many attendees, and the Birthday Bash Sunday, Mar. 16, brought around 200 guests to the store, with many arriving before 8am and sitting in the parking lot until the store’s 10am opening. Guests were treated to small prizes such as small stacks of fabric, gift certificates, Prairie Quilt t-shirts and cookbooks.
“We started doing different promotions the week before,” said Erica Miller, PQ’s Marketing Assistant. “We had grand prize drawings. We gave away a Scan-NCut, which Brother makes. It’s the newest version…a crafting machine which is a $799 value. We also gave away a Singer Featherweight sewing machine, and then we also gave away a Road to Oklahoma quilt, which is like a king-size quilt. It was very nice. Those were our grand prizes.”
