Hennessey School Board Holds Special Meeting, Focuses on New Teachers
Hennessey Public Schools met Monday, May 20, to discuss new hires and changes. On the agenda was the hiring of two new teachers.
Frances J. Streck was considered for hire as the new Middle School Science Teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. Streck possesses a Bachelor of Science Funeral Service Degree through University of Central Oklahoma and an Associates in Arts Degree from Northern Oklahoma college, as well as having studied Secondary Education Mathematics at Oklahoma State University. Streck was a 2001 graduate of Hennessey High School.
David Redus was considered for the position of Middle School Social Studies Teacher.
With 22 years of classroom experience and 24 years of experience coaching, Redus was a Social Studies Department Chair from 2008-2010. He can teach AP US History and AP European History. Redus obtained his B.A. in Criminal Justice from University of Central Oklahoma.
