Even when we believe everything is out of control in the world, we can trust God to give us blessings. “For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.” – Jeremiah 29: 11 ( NET ) The apparent uncertainty in our world leads us to question if there are blessings for our life. So many of us want God to unfold our blessings like “we want.” We hope to receive the good things we want from God. With the results of the national and local leadership choices, we pray that persons chosen will make decisions that benefit us and the way we perceive what is needed. In the end it is God who will unfold the blessing of the nation. We will trust God to bring the blessings for us. In a new day sometimes God does a new thing. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19)(New International Version) Even in our difficult and distressed experiences in the life of our nation, It is our task to trust God and believe that God will continue to sustain and give us wonderful blessings. Trust God and believe in God Mickie Preston of Bartlesville. She was also preceded in death by a son, Tony Sturgeon, her parents and one brother.
