Lady Eagles end week on a high note with late-inning victory

The Lady Eagles softball team had a rough week but it ended it on a high note against Oklahoma Bible Academy with a 6-5 victory in seven innings. After Hennessey collected only six combined hits and a single run in a pair of losses against Chandler and a Thursdaynight defeat to Chisholm, Coach Megan Karsten’s team matched their hit total and score six runs against the Trojans of OBA.

The Lady Eagles (11-12) have now slipped under .500, but hopefully the Fridaynight victory over OBA will help spark a winning streak that gets them back into the rhythm they were in that saw them when the Cashion Tournament earlier in the year.
