Hennessey High School’s Senior Leadership Class visited Enel Green Power’s Red Dirt Wind Farm in Hennessey last Wed., Sep. 4th. TJ Berry, Cole Nelms and Heath Herje from Enel Green Power spoke to the class at the high school auditorium, discussing the work the company does along with career opportunities in the fast-growing wind industry. Later, the students toured the site and even got a look inside a turbine. The tour served as an opportunity for students to learn hands-on about how STEM education has a real-world impact right here in Hennessey.
