Patricia “Pat” Thompson
Patricia “Pat” Thompson, age 92 of Hennessey, Oklahoma formally of Sand Springs, passed from this life Monday, April 1, 2019 in Hennessey.
A celebration of life service will be Friday, 10:00 a.m., April 5, 2019 at Mobley-Groesbeck Chapel with Reverend Scott Ferguson officiating. Pat will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
Pat was born on July 4, 1926 in Wilmont, Arkansas. She was adopted and raised by Harvey Henry and Ruth Lanier (Sawyer)McLeod. She graduated from Bastrop, Louisiana High School and married Earl “Corky” Thompson on September1, 1956 in Bosque Farms, New Mexico. The couple moved to the Sand Springs area and made their home here. Pat worked for Telex for ten years before going to work for Flight Safety and retiring in 1988 as an Inspector. Earl passed away on May 2, 2000 and that’s when Pat decided to move to Hennessy to be closer to family. Pat Loved restoring old antique furniture.
She is survived by a daughter Tami Thompson of Bixby, a son Daniel R. Thompson and wife Lisa of Hennessey, seven grandchildren Joseph Thompson and wife Magan, Levi Thompson and wife Brittney, Matthew Thompson and girlfriend Christine Jones, Canaan Thompson, Lindsey Dail and husband Ken, Leslie Anthamatten and husband Michael, Melody Thompson, Amanda, Erin, Zack and Darla, two step grand-sons Dennis Holliday and wife Andi and Brandon Holliday, greatgrandchildren Haylie Grace and Paisley Thompson, Hailey, Hannah, Joseph and Joshua Thompson, Caleb, Cheyenne, Cameron and Josiah Dail, Michael, Millie and Chevy Anthamatten and Alaina Wiley, three step great-grandchildren Alexis, Kyson and Teagan Holliday.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brother and 3 sisters.
