Sanders Shares Details of White House Internships
House Majority Leader Mike Sanders, R-Kingfisher, this week received details of the White House Internship Program for 2021 and is passing them along to anyone from his district interested in applying.
Sanders, who served as Director of Interns in the President George W. Bush White House, said, “This is the most prestigious internship program in the world, and is a great opportunity for college students, recent college graduates or veterans. Interns receive a close-up view of the American presidency and the function of our nation’s government, and this experience simply cannot be topped on a resume.”
Sanders oversaw the hiring of more than 1,000 young people from all across the United States, including many from Oklahoma, during his time as director. He encourages young people throughout House District 59 to apply.
