School board takes a look at student
During the regular May 1 Hennessey Board of Education meeting, the board spent some time discussing information presented by Superintendent Mike Woods regarding the drop-out report and college remediation.
Specifically Woods presented a report to the board from American College Testing regarding Hennessey students’ readiness for college. The report compared ACT scores for the school against state-wide averages for the last five years and also created a percentage of students who are college ready based upon test score data and collaborate research with postsecondary institutions nationwide.
