Wheeler Brothers Grain Co. features new mobile app
After celebrating over 100 years in agriculture, the Wheeler Brothers Grain Company continues to grow with the release of their first mobile app.
The Wheeler Brothers Grain Company started in 1917 with brothers Frank and William “Bill” Wheeler. After buying out Frank’s and Bill’s interest, Frank’s son Gene built his first concrete elevator in Watonga in 1945. Seventeen years later he built a dry bulk fertilizer, which is said to be the second oldest in the state.
Through many years of hard work and dedication, the company has grown to what it is today with 19 grain elevator locations, storage, which totals more than 20 million bushels and locations in northern, central and western Oklahoma. The company continues to be a family-owned business in its fourth generation.
Aside from grain storage, the company is also involved in fertilizer, feed manufacturing and seed production.
